LINOCUT PRINTS

My prints are sketched from observational drawings of flowers in my garden and on my allotment plot. These sketches are transferred to lino and hand carved into the lino block using specialist Pfeil carving tools.

I use water-based inks and a wooden hand press to create the prints in an Art cabin at the bottom of my garden.

My prints are also on display and available to buy at RHS Wisley Gallery, the beautiful gallery in Wisley, near Woking, Surrey. Please visit my Shop page to view all available prints. Thank you for visiting my website.

ETCHINGS
Etchings and Aquatints

I make my etchings in a professional Art studio. It can take up to 10 hours to design, draw and create a plate ready to take prints from. I use zinc and steel plates, hard and soft ground to draw an image into the plate using etching tools. I enjoy using the Aquatint process to achieve tonal interest and depth.
